Our ongoing mission here at Nationwide Print is to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible. Over the past few years our focus has been on energy use; we’ve invested in solar panels, exterior cladding and an electric car amongst other things, and are proud to be a net contributor to the energy grid. We were crowned Environmental Printing Company of the Year at the PrintWeek Awards in 2018, an accolade which has given us even greater impetus to set high standards as an industry leader.

Our duty of environmental stewardship goes beyond investing in kit; it’s about helping to embed behaviour change too. Reducing single use plastic has become a massive issue for us, as it has for so many individuals and organisations. As a Cornwall-based company and workforce we cherish and value our beautiful natural environment and are becoming increasingly alarmed by plastic pollution on our beaches and in our rivers.

We’ve teamed up with high performance brand Chilly’s to provide drinking bottles for our staff to reduce plastic use here at Nationwide HQ. We also have ten of these bottles to giveaway – see LinkedIn for details.
